On January 31, we brought our #STRONGgirls curriculum to life at the Weilenmann School of Discovery!

With nearly 70 incredible students in grades 5-8, our LVF Youth Ambassadors—Devin Hendrix, Emily Grace, and Sofia Leveratto—led an inspiring panel discussion on grit, confidence, leadership, and resilience.

The students engaged in open conversation, heard personal stories from our ambassadors, and reflected on their own strengths and growth. To close out the event, we led a Positive Affirmations activity, encouraging students to recognize their own power and uplift themselves through words of self-belief.

A huge THANK YOU to Weilenmann School of Discovery for hosting us, our ambassadors for leading with heart, and of course, Lindsey Vonn for her inspiring message to kick things off!

It's wonderful to see the Lindsey Vonn Foundation empowering young girls with such valuable life skills. Grit, confidence, leadership, and resilience are crucial for success, and providing a platform for open conversation and personal stories is incredibly impactful. This initiative reminds me of the power of accessible tools in fostering growth. Speaking of accessibility, have you all heard about PixelWeaver? It’s focused on making digital experiences inclusive, just like the LVF is making empowerment accessible to these girls.

What a beautiful event! Bringing nearly 70 girls together to talk about grit, confidence, and resilience—and having them hear from Youth Ambassadors who are walking that path themselves—is exactly how we build the next generation of leaders. The Positive Affirmations activity is such a powerful way to help young girls recognize their own strength and worth.

One extension of that idea is giving girls tools to express and celebrate their own voices. Creative tools like crevid.ai can help young people create short videos—whether it's sharing their own affirmations, telling a story about something they're proud of, or reflecting on what they've learned. When we give girls the means to create and share their perspective, we're telling them that their voice…

This is a powerful and inspiring topic that highlights confidence, growth, and empowerment at an early age. Programs like #STRONGgirls show how encouragement and self-belief can shape a brighter future. In the same way, a letterman mens jacket represents confidence and identity, making this story a great reminder of how strength—both personal and symbolic—can leave a lasting impact.
