On top of Vail mountain at The 10th, the 11-piece Jordan Kahn Orchestra set the mood for this 60s themed costume party. Nearly 200 guests, dressed in their best fur and 1960s-chic costumes, bid on auction items big and small: from cooking with Lindsey at the Grouse Mountain grill, tandem sky diving with the Red Bull Airforce, a week stay in Nantucket, to Head Skis, a custom LVF SUP board, and a custom-measured Cipollini bike and much, much more!
The Lindsey Vonn Foundation couldn’t be more excited to announce that with your help we raised over $90,000!
After the bids were closed Lindsey announced the winner of “best costume” and led everyone to the dance floor where we ended the night with neon-lights and great music!
But the party didn’t end there. Sunday we held an LVF exclusive Ski Day with Lindsey Vonn. Ten special guests signed up to get an hour of ski time with the Olympic Champion herself. Lindsey signed autographs and photographer Jesse Starr took action shots on the slopes.
We are so incredibly thankful for all of the wonderful support. With this years’ fundraising we have planned two STRONG GIRLS camps with Z-GiRLS in Denver (April 22-23rd) and in Minnesota (August 26-27th)! That means 200 girls get to work with a fun curriculum inspired to create teamwork, friendship, and confidence.
